Pathways Recovery is a California drug treatment and alcohol detox facility located in the Sacramento region. We treat addiction and help people regain control of their lives.
The first step of the Pathways Recovery California drug treatment program occurs when the addict, alcoholic or someone who cares about him or her makes the phone call to our facilities. We have qualified California drug treatment professionals who are able to assess each individual and design an individualized program of recovery. Once the initial consultation takes place, then the client will be recommended for either alcohol or drug detox treatment or a residential treatment program.
The Pathways Recovery residential drug and alcohol detox treatment program can vary in length of time depending on the severity of the drug addiction or alcoholism. On average our programs range from 10 days to twelve weeks, and we also offer extended aftercare and sober living options to all of our clients.

We view addiction as a disease and work with our clients to dispel any negative feelings associated with substance abuse or being in treatment. Our counselors and staff will work with you to uncover the underlying causes of the abuse and help you get out of the trap of addiction. We are knowledgeable about the latest treatment regimens for drug and alcohol detox, including the use of appropriate detox medications, and have over 25 years of experience in the field of recovery.
Pathways provides our services to adult men and women in a quiet, comfortable setting. Every client is assessed according to their specific needs and provided with California drug treatment with dignity. The average stay in Detox at our residential facility is between 5 and 10 days. During the Detox phase of treatment, we will discuss the various additional California drug treatment options available for our clients. These could include outpatient counseling, residential treatment, or temporary residence in a sober living environment.
Our structured, 12-step based recovery program ensures that our clients can maximize their opportunity for a sober, happy and healthy life after treatment. The goal of our California drug treatment and California alcohol rehab program is lifelong sobriety with results that are based on measurable objectives. These objectives are achieved by the following: admission assessment, individual case management, substance abuse education, referral plan development, relapse prevention education, and a continuing care plan for clients after they leave treatment.
The services we provide to those seeking sobriety are personal and most of all discreet. While most clients take advantage of our more affordable semi-private room, private rooms are available at our drug & alcohol treatment center in Sacramento. Private stays are arranged on a case-by-case basis at a higher cost.
Pathways’ facilities are fully accessible for clients with physical challenges including sight, hearing or mobility related.
