My downward spiral stopped at Pathways Recovery. I have no idea how it happened, and I can’t fully explain why Pathways was able to help me. I had been drinking since the age of 15. By the time I was 38 my life was a shambles. I was losing friends and relationships faster than I could keep track. About this same time I realized alcohol wasn’t working for me anymore, so being the intelligent guy I am I started searching for a better drug. I found it in opiates.
Obviously this wasn’t the solution either. Thanks to an intervention by my family and remaining friends, I wound up at Pathways Recovery where I began my trip to a sober life without drugs and alcohol. Thanks Pathways for saving my life.—-Steve J.

When I came to Pathways, I did not know what to expect. I was scared and I felt terrible physically. I quickly relaxed into a homey, comfortable setting (including a hot tub) and was wonderfully cared for by their patient, gentle staff. Amazingly the food was homemade and not institutional. I never want to have to detox again, but I would enthusiastically recommend Pathways to any friend or family member that might have a need someday. —-D.M.

I would like to thank Pathways Drug and Alcohol Recovery services for helping me get sober and find it in myself to do it. The staff was so amazing to all of us. I also met a lot of great friends. When I first came to Pathways I was scared. I was taking up to 20 benzodiazepam and 100 mg of methadone everyday. I’ve accomplished this feat that many times I thought was impossible. The staff was kind and compassionate. Thank you so much! —-MKM

The initial support that we got from everyone at Pathways Recovery alcohol and drug treatment center was what was important to us. We were shattered when the reality of our son’s drug problem was made aware to us. We had no idea what to do or where to turn. The people we spoke to at Pathways Recovery immediately made us feel like we weren’t alone in this fight. Their support continued throughout our son’s treatment at Pathways, and the care they showed at selecting the right program for his long term recovery demonstrated they viewed our son as an individual who’s addiction needed to be treated individually.
