Verify Your Insurance for Rehab

Verifying your insurance for treatment at Pathways Recovery takes about 15 minutes and costs nothing. We accept most major insurance, including any PPO plan with out-of-network benefits and Kaiser HMO. Call (916) 735-8377 or submit the form below, and our admissions team will tell you exactly what your plan covers before you commit to anything.

What insurance we accept

Pathways Recovery accepts most major insurance. Specifically, we work with any PPO plan that includes out-of-network benefits, and we are in-network with Kaiser HMO for eligible members.

We can file a claim with any PPO carrier that has out-of-network benefits, which covers the large majority of private and employer sponsored plans. If you carry Kaiser HMO, we accept it directly for members who need residential or intensive outpatient care. When you call, tell us who your carrier is and we will confirm how your specific plan applies.

One thing we want to be upfront about: at this time we do not accept Medi-Cal, Medicaid, CalWorks, or any other government subsidized insurance. If that is your coverage, call us anyway and we will point you toward options in the area.

Check your insurance online

Your information is kept private and confidential and is used only to verify your benefits. Submitting the form does not obligate you to anything.

How the verification process works

When you call to discuss your detox treatment, have your insurance card handy and be prepared to provide our admissions coordinator with the following information so that we may check for coverage:

Verification is a short phone call or online form, and it is free whether or not you enter treatment with us.

When you call, have your insurance card ready and be prepared to share four things: the member name, the insurance company, the member’s date of birth, and the member ID number. With those, our admissions team checks your benefits directly with the carrier and gives you a clear picture of what is covered and what your out-of-pocket cost would be before admission. Most checks are done within about 15 minutes by phone. If you submit the online form instead, we follow up quickly with the same information.

Information to have ready:

  • Member name
  • Insurance company
  • Member’s date of birth
  • Member ID number

What if my insurance doesn’t cover treatment

If your plan does not cover treatment, or you do not have insurance, care is still within reach. We offer payment plans and financing so cost is not the reason someone goes without help. Our admissions team can walk through the numbers with you and build something workable. Call (916) 735-8377 to talk it through.
